The Two Vines Who is the Fourth Person?-Part 5

Who was the fourth Person in the fiery furnace with the three friends of Daniel? Jesus Christ Himself!

Daniel 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

The modern translations claim it was not Jesus Christ Himself but some son god.

  • NLT fourth looks like a god
  • CSB a son of the gods
  • ESV a son of the gods
  • NASB a son of the gods
  • NIV a son of the gods
  • CSB a son of the gods

The reason for the above modern translation is because Nebuchadnezzar did not know Who the God of the Hebrew people was! O, yes the king most certainly did!

Daniel 3:26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, came forth of the midst of the fire.

Daniel 3:29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.

Jesus Christ, the Fourth Person in the fiery furnace took the threesome to the fourth- a higher dimension. That’s why they had no burns nor any smell on them.

Daniel 3:27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

The following Bible verse comes to mind

  • Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

Another thing is, the first four chapters of the Book of Daniel, also deal with that God is showing Nebuchadnezzar Who HE,  God is. God wants Nebuchadnezzar to know this. Nebuchadnezzar must know that it is God Who gave him that kingdom. That it is the God of Daniel Who appoints kings and rulers.

Daniel 2:20,21 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: 21/ And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding.

The sons of the god(s)

Revelation 1:1,2  And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. 2/ And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

They are devils and Apollo is one of them, Their faces and hair were that of a woman. They have a male body. They are androgynous.

Revelation 9:10-11 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. 11/ And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

These devils are the evil angels Would the three friends of Daniel have been rescued from the fiery furnace by these creatures that the threesome did not want to bow for in the first place?

The Two Vines – Part 5,  as well as part 1 thru 4,  are under the category: The King James Bible.

    1. That is what the Bible is telling me. The tribe of Judah are taken captive by Nebudchadnezzar. In the meantime God saves this pagan king.
Talking about predestination. Isaiah 55:8,9 comes to mind.
In my childhood I could not get enough about hearing about the stories in the Bible. That’s why I could read before the age of six. So I could read the Bible myself.
