The Everlasting King!

The Child of Bethlehem: The Everlasting King Part 3 Biblical Meditation, To read Luke 1:26-33. John 19:17-22.

Luke 1:35 And He shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of His Kingdom there shall be no end.

The inscription above the cross relays the same message as the proclamation of the Birth of Christ. “Jesus is the King of the “Jews””!
One message on the cross is inscribed by Pilate; words of scorn. The other message at the time of the Birth of Jesus is proclaimed by the angel Gabriel; Saviour which is Christ the Lord, words of comfort and salvation. In both messages, God is pointing to His Child the Messianic King Who shall sit on the throne of David.

When we look at the inscription of Pilate in depth we must believe the words of Gabriel as did Mary. Faith only shows the glory of the Child of Bethlehem. The non-spiritual eye cannot see the royalty of the Child in the manger nor the Man of Sorrow on the cross.

Faith discerns the still hidden glory. The Messias, the Prince of Peace shall reveal the hidden glory, Who is promised to Israel, Abraham’s seed in the ancient days. This promise is fulfilled in Bethlehem where the Saviour comes into the world. A world that is full of guilt and shame. The Ruler over Israel shall be of the Root of David.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Micah 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

The Messias shall come as the Everlasting King of Righteousness. In the fullness of time, God’s Son was brought forth of a woman from the tribe of Judah. He shall rule in Zion, the city of David.

The Messias shall come as the Everlasting King and Redeemer, at His Birth worshiped by the three wise men from the far East. “Jesus King of the “Jews”” * (see footnote and link) the words Pilate wrote. But Christ Jesus shall return and will be the Everlasting King to all kindreds, people, and nations. He shall sit on the throne of David.

The inscription on the cross was written in three languages. The little town of Bethlehem was to be known throughout the world. Meanwhile, the glory of the Kingdom remained hidden. He walked among us but remained incognito. His Life between the manger and the cross was without any glory and splendor. The way through this world went deep and caused loneliness and disruption. In the end, the mocking words remained on the cross.

The inscription indeed remained. It could not be changed. What Pilate had written, he had written according to God’s instruction, What the angel Gabriel proclaimed was spoken by God. That’s why Pilate only could acknowledge in writing what the messenger announced and foretold. The Lord GOD will give Him the throne of David and the Anointed shall be King over the House of Jacob forever.

He was promised and expected ages ahead of time. Angels sang to his glory. The prophets prophesied, about Him with delight. The Everlasting King would come in righteousness. His glorious rule was proclaimed in powerful words. And to His Kingdom shall be no end.

How blessed for Mary. The angel Gabriel spoke to her familiar words. Didn’t David, the man after God’s heart, already have the promise that his kingdom would be an Everlasting Kingdom?

This promise derived from David’s Kingdom is the deep and rich fulfillment in Him. The throne of David shall have more than earthly splendor. The eternal contours shall give their brilliance worldwide. The angels from heaven shall sing peace on earth. The LORD shall judge in righteousness. The Anointed shall heal the brokenhearted, and proclaim liberty to them that are bruised. To the poor, He will preach salvation. He shall rule with justice, wisdom and, meekness.

The Kingdom of Heaven, to all nations according to the promise given to Abraham and ordained by the Father of Christ. A wonderful Kingdom. For it is the Kingdom of the Son of God. A Kingdom full of God’s Love!
The Child of Bethlehem, Jesus Christ, is Precious in the eyes the of Father, has also become precious in the eyes of His children.

The Israelites and all nations are looking forward to the re-building of the Kingdom of Heaven of the Everlasting King!

  • In the Old Testament, the word “Jew” ought to be read as Judahite which were the Israelites of the tribe of Judah.
  • In the New Testament, the word “Jew” ought to be read as Judean which were the Israelites also of the tribe of Judah and they were living in the Roman province of Judea.

  1. Very excellent article miss Jackie!

I also followed the link to the source that discussed the biological identity of the people who today identity themselves as Jews.
I must admit that I only visually scanned part of the information, but what little bit I did see, seemed on point about the identity of modern professing Jews.

Only by being in Christ is a person the Israel of God. Only by being in Christ, is a person of Abraham’s seed. Circumcision is that of the heart, not of the letter.

Grace and peace to all who possess the faith of Christ.

  2. In case you are interested in four parts: Who Are The True Israelites including additional information.

The map shows how the Isralites went to Western Europe, from there onto England, the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. All white people. At the bottom of each post is a link to the following post. Anglo-Saxon is derived from the name Isaac, the son of Promise.
    Genesis 35:11 And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;

Stumbling on the website of Sheldon Emry a few months ago, caught my attention! Undeserved grace from God. Praise the LORD, o my soul. It was just before the time with “caeli”, Remember that discussion on your blog? I still have the comment I wrote.

Another way to praise the Saviour, the LORD, is to know the distinction between the Edomites and the Israelites. The hostility between Jacob and Esau is still going on.

Jesus Christ was not a Jew but a Judean Man while walking on earth. The modern Jews, the Edomites, are exactly those people who were the Pharisees, the scribes, the Sadducees, and the Herod kings. We can read in Matthew 23, the woe chapter how Lord Jesus Christ called them. They hate Bible-believing Christians like us for instance, Mr. Lee. Because they still hate Lord Jesus. They still think HE is from the devil as described in Matthew 12:24,27. And that’s why to my believe it is important that we know the difference between the Jews (Edomites) and the Judeans (the Israelites). It is another act of God’s grace.

John chapter four describes there were many Israelites that recognized and accepted Lord Jesus as the Messias. In John chapter eight the division becomes clear.

The modern Jews are up to their ears in judaism also known as jewish mysticism, HRM, kabbalah you name it all based upon the book of Zohar. They pretend they are God’s chosen people, the Israelites and they are not. They took the name that was is not theirs.

Anyone who believes on the Name of Jesus Christ is spiritual of Abraham’s seed is saved by grace That also applies to anyone who is physically an offspring of Abraham and an Israelite.

My post “How It Came About Why I Believe What I Believe” on this blog.
The Jews have been pulling the wool over our eyes and they are still doing it, and are still getting away with it. Hence my posts. The more we study this topic the more knowledge and understanding we gain.
It also will strengthen our faith and will make it unshakeable.

    1. Hi miss Jackie, good mornin to you.

Do you know how bank tellers are trained to spot counterfeit money?
They study the real thing so intensely, that they don’t need to study all of the different counterfeits.

And that’s pretty much how I approach this issue.

All I have to do is focus on the true gospel, and the true Christ…and everything else is out of focus in the periphery.

  3. Of course, I couldn’t agree with you more.
And I know where you are coming from. Same here. That’s how it should be.

But the posts also are to prove that what several people claimed to be true is wrong.
The link to my other weblog is on her blog. And I wanted to make sure that she and the few others agreeing with her are accusing me that my posts are misleading. This is a false accusation.

Before I post something, I make sure not to draw anyone away from the precious Saviour and His Gospel that makes us free. That’s why, I just like you always use Scripture.
