Jesus Christ The Saviour. Do You Know Him?

Lord Jesus is One of a kind, the Only Begotten Son of God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. The Son of God has taken the sin of the world upon Him. On Calvary’s Cross where His Blood has been freely flowing sanctifies when confessing your sin and accepting Him as your personal Mediator and Saviour. “Lord be gracious unto me” and He grants you Eternal life. And God will reject no one!

Now we come to the very core of the Gospel. When we do not surrender to Him we have a huge problem for then we remain lost forever. Because when born into this world we are lost by default.

Lord Jesus, has become Man while walking here on earth just like us. However, with one big difference, the Saviour knew no sin.  He was God manifested in the flesh.

–1Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:

  1. God was manifest in the flesh,
  2. justified in the Spirit,
  3. seen of angels,
  4. preached unto the Gentiles,
  5. believed on in the world,
  6. received up into glory

God is Love, but He hates sin; the wrath of God concerning  our sin is because we turned away from Him and therefore it all came down on His precious Son. When we start to comprehend this then the core of the Gospel will become clear to us.

When Lord Jesus died on the cross His voice called out through the dark night, –John 19:30 “It is finished”

The veil hanging in front of the Temple tore from top to bottom.

–Matthew 27:51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent.

That means anyone can go through God the Son Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father. Through the Mediator ONLY then we are justified to stand before the LORD. No religion, organization or church (leader)  brings us to the Father in order to be saved from death forever.  Only through Jesus Christ.

–John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

Becoming Christ His Own is not without obligation. You have to make conscientiously different choices. You have to distance yourself from everything that more or less controls you. That means a lot of struggle because everything that is putting up a barrier in relation to our Lord and Saviour must be cleared away.

We are children of Adam born in sin. So were are lost by default. But reading the Word of God, the Bible, the second Adam came, the Christ; He makes a new creature of us. The new creation makes us children of God. And therefore we are going to live forever in the Presence of the Saviour. That is a definite promise of God. It doesn’t matter who you were, where you were born, what your race was, or what you have done before.

–2Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

That what is accepted in society is mostly not in agreement with God. You will experience a lot of adversity meeting many people, who hate the glorious Name of Jesus Christ. It will become more and more difficult when time goes by when Lord Jesus is the very Center of your life. You feel trapped but wait for the LORD.

–Psalms 27 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Through the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, you are more than a conqueror. In spite of your weakness and vulnerability, you are strong empowered by His Strength. Lord Jesus will remain with you for the Holy Ghost has come to live in your heart and He will never leave you.

The Holy Ghost will lead you through life here on earth and into all truth and holds on to you till the end. Your soul that will live forever is now safe in the Hands of the Soul Keeper. No sin and no virus will molest the new life dwelling within you when you stay close to God by abiding by His Word.

God’s Promises and His spoken Words never will pass away no matter what will happen. May we never forget the following words.

  2. Good post, and good mornin to you miss Jackie.

Thank you for sharing your post with people who need the message of salvation.

I want to run a part of your post by you for clarification please.

    When you wrote:

“Becoming Christ His Own is not without obligation. You have to make conscientiously different choices. You have to distance yourself from everything that more or less controls you. That means a lot of struggle, because everything that is putting up a barrier in relation with our Lord and Saviour must be cleared away.”

You were speaking about Christian service, the Christian walk after justification, right?

    (Not a prerequisite for justification)?
    I. E. “You have to repent of your sins to be saved.”

    1. We can call unto God just the way we are. Empty handed and then some After Salvation we have new Life dwelling within us at that time with God’s grace and empowerment our old life and bad habits must go. Not before Salvation

      No, no, no, because:
1 The finished Work of God would have been in vain.
2 We are never to able to do so.
3 It would be works and not saved by grace.

Furthermore before Salvation we did not know Christ Jesus, so how would we know what He is asking of us in Matthew 22:37-40
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Only when we are saved we are righteous before God.

      1. AMEN x 1000 miss Jackie.

(And even if you had said that someone must repent of their sins to be saved, I wasn’t going to be ugly towards you).

It’s definitely heresy to tell someone that they have to repent of their sins to be saved.

But Christians all over the world say things like that because religion has put that sort of phraseology in their thinking. And we all are growing in our knowledge of what God’s grace is, so my job is to help whoever I can, to see His marvelous grace as God has enlightened me. My job isn’t to judge, or demean my brethren in their pursuit of wisdom.
I follow my spirit’s intuition in this matter.

Now there are some people who my spirit tells me that they are false prophets.
There are people who tell others the heresy: to repent of their sins to be saved…and I know in my spirit that they aren’t a Christian in pursuit of understanding grace, but are false prophets, intentionally teaching damming heresy.

(Hopefully, you understand what I’m trying to say).

I’ll never forget when God opened both my eyes, and my wife Melissa’s eyes to God’s grace. It was POWERFUL.

        Lord bless you sister.
And thank you for sharing your thoughts about this. 😇

      2. Yes I understand what you are trying to say because I have read many of your posts and made notes from time to time.

Agree, we are not to judge anyone because who are we? However with an open Bible we can point that he/she is adhering to a false doctrine and being sorely misled.

God’s Word is powerful for anyone who wants to listen. God’s Word is Lord Jesus Christ. Lord Jesus Christ the Power of Love

God bless you and your family Mr Lee.

      3. I have a thought that I ask you to consider please sister. (I’m not asking you to report back to me, I’m merely asking you to consider something for your own knowledge). I believe that you will be greatly blessed by the result of what you consider.

        So here it is:

Prayerfully consider that command of Jesus that you referenced.

Consider the context of such a command, including also much of His commands in His sermon on the Mount.

Consider the purpose is not for people to meet that standard, but to dissuade people from thinking that they can comply to it all, and recognize their inability to measure up to it.
…and thus drive them to seek rightstanding with God as a free gift, because they can’t measure up to the law’s impossible demands.

Do any of us Christians love God with all of our being?
If we’re candid about the matter, we’d like to, but we know that we don’t.

Do any of us Christians love our neighbor as we should?
Again, we’d like to, but we know that we fall short there too.

        Which brings us to this:

Romans 3:19-23 King James Version (KJV)

19 “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

        21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

So that’s what I present to you for your consideration my friend.

        God bless you sister. 😇

      4. Thank your for response Mr Lee; I fully agree with you. And yes I am blessed by it. More than you can imagine

God’s grace and the finished Work of Jesus Christ is what I am focused upon.

  3. Lee…Repentance unto faith is not false doctrine. It is biblical.
    Consider this:
    Matt 4:17, Mk 1:15, Lk 13:3,
Acts 2:38, Acts 3:19. These are just a few selected scriptures. Repentance was preached by Jesus Himself, as well as the early church.

    1. Paul Martin thanks for this input I do appreciate this.
Yes, the word repent is Biblical. I was aware of that. The word repent means to turn around, to turn back and also to come home. To come Home to Lord Jesus. Accept the free but so very precious Gift God is offering. There are those that respond and there are those that don’t. When responded to the word repent and God’s Gift is accepted then follows grace through faith.
And I think that at this moment repentance, the coming Home, takes place.

      –Ephesians 2:8,9
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works lest any man should boast

Excuse me and please please do not take this personal but I’ll remove the link to the YouTube video you provided. God speaks in a small low voice , shouldn’t we?

–1Kings 19:11 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake:

      –1Kings 19:12
And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.”

The thief on the cross, didn’t do a bunch of good works suddenly. But, he agreed with God that He was a sinner. He said that he was there justly (Luke 23:40-41). And he asked Jesus to remember him when He came into His kingdom. I believe that repentance and faith are inseperable.

    1. Yes exactly repentance and faith surely belong together. It does not mean that after salvation we can continue our old lifestyle. That’s what I meant with” Becoming Christ His Own is not without obligation.
With this I meant faith only and not works.

The very first thing the malefactor said to Jesus “Lord”. Then he continued his sentence.
–Luke 23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into Thy kingdom

To day here means the very moment Lord Jesus is conveying the happy message to the malefactor. Because the moment we call on Lord Jesus we are saved.
–Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with Me in paradise.

The word repent is used by Lord Jesus but it means: just turn around, and come Home unconditionally just as you are. Because without Him we can do nothing. After salvation and we stay close we will blossom IN Him.
      –John 15:5
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing.

I got the notification that you liked my comment, but I didn’t see that you commented until later!

Amen about salvation. I also believe that after we are saved we don’t just continue to live like we once did. If the
Lord changed your heart you shouldn’t be following around sin.

I’m not sure what you were saying about after we are saved. I noticed the word “strive”. I agree that we have to try hard to serve the Lord, and fight against the flesh.

Paul said this: “O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
        Romans:7:24

“For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.”
        Romans:7:15

He also said, “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind . . .”
        Romans:7:18-23

      2. If the Lord changed your heart you shouldn’t be following around sin.
Because after we are born again we have new Life dwelling within us and we very much want to do what is right in the Eyes of the LORD. The habits of the old life will keep popping up. That is what we are struggling against.
The apostle Paul who was devoted to Lord Jesus was also struggling with the flesh. The Bible verses you provided do show this fact.

After we are truly born again our life will change with God’s help and not before.
–John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit

After salvation we also will be sealed with the Holy Spirit and not before.
–Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of Promise

With “repent” Lord Jesus means turn around and come Home just as you are.
        –Matthew 11:28
Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest

    Right!

I only got the notification that
you liked my comment. I just checked to see if you replied.

I do believe people sin and fall short after they are saved, but they have a new nature that doesn’t want to sin. That their inward man can not sin.

Take Lot. He wasn’t a model believer. But, the New Testament calls him just. It also says that he had a righteous soul. II Peter 2:7-8

    Or Peter.

Yes, Jesus is the perfect example we see that as a human he was capable of it. A high standard. And the sacrifice made by him allows us to be human and obtain forgiveness. It is a great feeling indeed for I am certainly short of his example. I feel his presence as a faithful friend. He brings me life energy.

    1. During these weeks of the peak of the corona virus it is time to share the Gospel. Also hopefully mankind will take a step back and reflect.
This virus will be roaming around for some time to come.

The virus of the Spanish flu of 1918 was around until 1957. And they are still not sure how the outbreak started.

From what I see and read it is overblown and the stats are incorrect. This looks more like a NWO attempt to seize more control. Shame on the media and every congressman.

      2. The stats are not representative, because those who pass away do nine times out ten have an underlying ailment or a weak immune system. So then it is not that these people die of CV only but of a combination. And I think that number of “combination” deaths is far greater.

The vaccinations for the CV is also about money. Bill Gates the culprit is making on his investment of 10B dollars a 150B to 200B return on vaccines only.

Politicians and the MSM worldwide are nothing but fear mongering. Of course we have to take precautionary measures, and think about others but shouldn’t we do this during the flu season? I do. With CV same thing.

Yes that’s it. Keep safe from germs. The overreach is unprecidented. And you are right about Gates. He wants to “vaccinate” the entire world with something.

  10. That’s what Gates wants, but no worries it is not going to happen. The alternative news is not truthful either.

However, nobody knows exactly what the side effects will be shortly, and especially in the long run. People are starting to raise questions. Probably those people with common sense.
